On the 750th anniversary of the city of Ostrava, on 8th and 9th September 2017, historical festivals called Historical Rej. For these two days, the Ostrava streets around Masaryk Square, Black Meadow and Silesian Ostrava Castle will turn into a historical site and visitors will be transferred to a long time ago. Entertainment will be ready for both small and large visitors.

The rich program will be represented mainly by period performances, including, of course, equestrian tournaments, castle dances or arms training. Furthermore, the program offers visitors pleasant music and rich refreshments. At the festivities it is worthwhile to prepare in advance, since everyone who comes in the period costume will win interesting prizes, but the period costume is not a necessity.
