Every year, the two-day multi-gen Festival Festival in the streets is held in front of the largest Ostrava festival Colors of Ostrava. This is so again this year. The date of this unusual festival is Friday 30 June and Saturday, July 1, 2017.

The Ostrava Hotel Na Kafkové is prepared for the off-road. On Friday, the program of the festival is scheduled from 15:00, beginning in front of the town hall on Prokešovo náměstí and in the meadows around Černá louka Exhibition Ground and Slezskoostravský Castle. The two days of the well-known groups and performers such as LENNY, MALALATA, EMA, PRAGO UNION and many other great performers perform on stage. The accompanying program of the Festival in the Streets takes place on Smetana's Square in Ostrava. There will be workshops, musical performances, theater performances. The entire program of the Festival in the streets is accompanied by Catalan culture, dancing, back, parade and even Catalan fireworks are scheduled to take place on Saturdays from 19:45 to 20:45 on the 750 Years of OSTRAVA HISTORY scene.
