This year, in the period from May 30 to June 4, 2017, the 9th year of the theater drama theater Dream Factory will be held in Ostrava. This is a festival that takes place in several locations in Ostrava, the ending being traditionally a cultural program in the industrial environment of the Hlubina Mine.

The aim of the festival is to revive the Moravian-Silesian cultural life. Dream Factory combines local art production with perfect productions from the whole Czech Republic. From the other theater festivals, the use of the Ostrava industrial environment differs, in which the classical productions prepared for the theater environment connected to the industrial space are connected. Among other things, the festival will present productions such as Uncle Váňa performed by HaDivadlo Brno, Nora (House for Dolls) performed by the Theater under Palmovka Praha, or Mrtvol Spalovač - Petr Bezruč Theater. In addition to these performances, there are many other theater and musical performances.
